Get DirectionsDue to continuing public safety precautions related to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Arboretum has made the difficult decision to cancel both the Asheville Orchid Festival and the Carolina Bonsai Expo in 2021.
The North Carolina Arboretum will host their 25th annual Carolina Bonsai Expo on Saturday, June 12 and Sunday, June 13th from 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
This year’s guest artist will be Ryan Neil of Mirai Bonsai in Oregon. The nationally renowned event will feature juried exhibits, free demonstrations, bonsai workshops, and a bonsai marketplace so that you can take home a bonsai plant. The details and event schedule will be made available as the date draws closer.
