Description

Where you'll go to relax and unwind. Located in a private, gated community, Pine Creek Cabin is tucked away in the midst of a 3,000 acre nature preserve. Sit out by the outdoor fire pit, enjoy a competitive game of corn hole, or take a soak in the hot tub- you'll fall in love with the peaceful surroundings of the pines and creeks on both sides of the cabin.

Pine Creek Cabin is located in Old Fort. You'll have exclusive access to the waterfall park and Lake George lake access in Gateway Mountain, just a 10 minute drive from the cabin. You're also 20 minutes to Catawba Falls. Make sure you stop by Mr. Bob's Donuts in Old Fort for delicious hand-cut, fresh donuts.

Approximately a 30-40 minute drive to the charming towns of Black Mountain and Marion. You'll love exploring the local shops, restaurants, and breweries in downtown Marion. Marion's Mica Town Brewing Company, Refinery 13 Taproom, and Spillway Bridge & Co are local spots to enjoy an evening out. Enjoy live music at Black Mountain's Pisgah Brewing, and then hop over to Lookout Brewing and Black Mountain Brewing to enjoy even more local craft beers. For incredible food, check out Foothills Butcher Bar, Black Mountain Bistro or Que Sera. You are also 45 minutes to Downtown Asheville, the Biltmore Estate, Chimney Rock and Lake Lure.

House Layout:
Main level- open living room, kitchen, and dining area; living room with wood burning fireplace, TV, and floor to ceiling windows; dining table with seating for 4; full kitchen with all basic amenities including Keurig and standard coffee maker, dishwasher, and island (seating for 4); half bath; king bedroom with en suite bathroom (walk-in shower only).

Upper level- king bedroom with en suite bathroom (shower/tub combo).

Outdoors- wrap around porch (partially covered) with gas grill and table (seating for 4); hot tub on patio; outdoor fire pit next to creek; corn hole boards; creek side deck area.

Pine Creek Cabin is pet friendly with additional pet fee.

Please Note: there is limited cell reception at the cabin, but there is a land line with unlimited long distance calls and WiFi available.

The cleanliness and open space. Comfortable beds and furniture.

Very private beautiful setting. Home was so cozy and very clean and well equipped. The creek running through was an added bonus.

Just the nice and quiet get away that we wanted. Couldn't have imagined any better. The cleanest place we've ever stayed in also. Beautiful mountains. It was the best plan to make since hurricane Dorian ruin our cruise trip. We are planning another stay here in the near future.

The house and location are beautiful. A secluded getaway to unwind, relax and enjoy the peace and quiet of the mountains, with the soothing sound of the creek in the background. Everything was immaculate and as described. The kitchen had everything needed to prepare a few good family dinners. Make sure you thoroughly plan your grocery needs, it's a good 25 minute twisty, windy drive to the store.

the cabin was very clean and I was able to relax
there were many warm touches throughout the cabin

it was very comfortable
