Panther Cat Perch is a true mountain cabin located at the Eastern Continental Divide at 3,000ft elevation. Just 10 minutes from Black Mountain and 25 minutes from all that Asheville has to offer. This true mountain cabin has 2 bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths. Bed sizes are King and Queen. Enjoy the big game or your favorite movies with the 40in TV and blue ray player. Relax in the hot tub while you take in the mountain scenery. Panther Cat Perch is the perfect getaway for adventure and rest.

Highly recommended cabin in beautiful Black Mountain. Excellent and amazingly detailed place with privacy. The views are breathtaking. Easy access to the gorgeous town of Black Mountain and less than 30 minutes from Asheville.

We loved how close and at the same time secluded this cabin was. Lots of windows with lovely views. Quiet area. Black Mountain had lots of great restaurants.

Cabin was great, in a nice proximity to Black Mountain/Asheville, and the mountains were beautiful!

Panther cat perch was beautiful and clean and perfect for our needs. We had a wonderful time visiting the Asheville area!

It is definitely a good idea to get to the rental in the daylight which was suggested by the management company. However, we didn’t do it was great to have their instructions. We loved the hot tub and the secluded cabin! We wished there had been a tv in the bedroom.

We had an incredible stay at Panther Cat Perch.
The home is warm and welcoming and really updated with modern touches. The natural lighting was beautiful. We would stay here before. Just careful turning into driveway. :-)

The "cabin" was great, clean, great amenities. Good cable/TV and internet connections. The road to the cabin is very steep and narrow which made for a somewhat tense trip up the mountain.

Loved our stay at Panther Cat Perch. We were looking for something different from the routine Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge experience and did we ever find it! Cabin offered the privacy we were looking for and convenience to the places we wanted to see, Biltmore, Mt Mitchell, Chimney Rock, Catawaba Falls, Blue Ridge Parkway, and much more. So many neat little friendly towns. The cabin is well taken care of and clean. So relaxing sitting on the couch in front of the gas fireplace. Thank you Greybeard Realty, my guest and I enjoyed our stay so much, we are already trying to plan to come back soon with friends and stay longer.

This cabin was absolutely amazing. I've rented several cabins through many different companies over the years and this has been by far the best experience. The cabin itself was immaculate and well stocked. We cooked each night and kept running into things we forgot to pack and would find what we needed already there! The hot tub looking out over the trees going down the mountain was helped deliver the much needed relaxation after Kentucky Derby Weekend! We will definitely use this location again in the future.

Great experience staying at Panther Cat Perch. It did rain all weekend, but we still had a very nice and relaxing time. The place is secluded in the hills and has updated amenities. Very easy access to downtown Black Mountain. Hot tub was a great addition to the weekend vacation. Greybeard was fantastic to work with and completely available if we needed anything, which we did not. I would easily stay at this place again.

When it came to choosing a cabin, I had to be very picky as this would be my boyfriends first time in the mountains. Our cabin turned out perfect! It was clean, and the location was great! My kids had a great time as well. Definitely would choose greybeard again!
