Asheville's glass scene will have a variety of fun events in summer 2018 to correspond with the Biltmore's Chihuly glass exhibition. Summer 2018 is known as the Summer of Glass which will feature a community-wide celebration of glass via local exhibitions throughout the city of Asheville, tours, workshops and special events all summer long such as "The Glassworks Concert Series: Hot Glass, Cold Beer, Live Music" at Lexington Glassworks. This will also be an ideal time to explore local galleries and glass artists studios.
