Welcome to Hatton House, a new Arts & Crafts townhome in the traditional neighborhood of Cheshire Village. Hatton House has all the comforts of home including a front porch made for socializing. The cozy living room invites all with its fireplace, gas logs, and stylishly comfortable Arts & Crafts decor. Relax with friends or family in the inviting outdoor space with a gas grill and round wicker table to enjoy your meals together. The large TV with a DVD player, stereo iPod dock, and wireless internet allows you to remain connected.

Discover the charm of Cheshire's tree-lined streets, gentle streams, and winding trails, with its convenient location just 20 minutes from Asheville. Hatton has 3 bedrooms, all located upstairs. The primary bedroom with a king bed has a full bath with shower only, another bedroom with Queen, and the third room has 2 twins and shares a full hall bath. Half bath downstairs. (If needed the sofa in the living room is a queen sleeper) SHEETS AND TOWELS INCLUDED.

We have had the pleasure of staying in Cheshire many times. We rented this on as our usual rental was not available. location is perfect. its right behind the restaurants in cheshire. very walkable area. Townhome is well equipped to say the least. Spacious rooms and there's a beautiful patio off the den. We arrived and the internet was not working. We have a new infant who needed wifi for a monitor. Greybeard and the owner of the unit were very kind. We had several conversations with Greybeard. Spectrum arrived late that night. Cheshire is a mile from downtown black mountain. you can't ask for a better location in Cheshire. The only small negatives are the street out front is very narrow so most likely if you're unloading you will block the road since cars are usually parked on the street. Likewise there is a garage in the back. There is a house being built behind and the dumpster for that house is in the turnout to use to park in the garage. The master shower door needs a small adjustment. For anyone who is orthopedically challenged, the bedrooms are upstairs. Overall, its a 10 as is Greybeard's service.

Upon our arrival we found the Hatton House immaculately clean, warm. and cozy. The owners and Greybeard Rentals provided everything we needed to make our stay perfect. Thank you so much for allowing our dogs to come with us!!! I was very blessed to find this property. We brought our Moms with us. One is 94 and the other 82. They loved the property and were able to easily get around. The home is so close to downtown Black Mountain and only minutes away from Ashville. We would definitely look for this property when we return to Black Mountain.

The Hatton House was perfect for a last-minute family getaway. Working with Greybeard was easy and stress free. Our family loved the quiet location in Cheshire Village, a wooded neighborhood with trails, a gourmet grocery, and a few restaurants just steps away. It was a very short drive 5 minute to downtown Black Mountain, where there several great restaurants, shops, micro-breweries, and distilleries. The home was very clean and fully equipped. We appreciated use of a washer/dryer and full kitchen. Plenty of cozy rooms for all of us. It's a great central location to Asheville, The Biltmore, and Chimney Rock - all just 15 to 30 minutes away. Definitely want to return to the Hatton House soon!

Clean, roomy accommodations located in quiet are. Everything was as pictured. The home is convenient to Asheville attractions. There are dining and grocery options in the immediate area for a quick bite. Extras like games, throw blankets, and plenty of towels, let you know they want you to enjoy your stay. I would book here again.

The place was very nice and clean and plenty of places to walk around and many eating places walking distance. Neighborhood was quiet and everyone we met was very friendly.. was nice place to get away to relax..

The Village of Cheshire was a fantastic find and the townhome was lovely. Loved being able to walk to grab breakfast/drinks/dinner or simply relax on the porch. We were only there for a weekend, but am booking a week to catch some fall leaves in my new happy place!

This house has wonderful spaces to enjoy for everyone. We woke up everyday to enjoy coffee on the big front porch and enjoyed all the amenities of the house. The home is clean, cozy and up to date with everything you need, even a garage! We loved taking walks around the neighborhood as well, just a charming place all around.

We had a pleasant stay until the Coronavirus shortened our vacation. We left snow at our northern
Michigan home to beautiful green grass and flowering bushes and trees. Our rental home was very comfortable and located in nice friendly neighborhood where we felt totally secure. Enjoyed exploring the many shops in downtown Black Mountain with Charlotte,our springer spaniel.

Loved Hatton House, Chesire Village is just charming and so is the town of Black Mountain. The town house itself was very nice, clean, had everything we need, and super comfortable beds!!

We loved staying in Cheshire village. We could walk to a few little restaurants. Kids played in the streams and enjoyed seeing lightning bugs! The townhouse was clean and comfortable. Kitchen had everything you would need to cook a dinner.

The house was very clean, updated and spacious . We are here for a wedding and had plenty of room for three women to all get ready. The beds were very comfortable.
The location had a little bistro walking distance and a little shopping area next-door that we were able to walk to for breakfast in the morning. When we went into town the day before we couldn't find anything that open before 11 so we were very lucky to have this close by for the next days.
The rental agency was very easy to contact when one of the guests had to check in instead of myself. I very much enjoyed staying at this rental and would recommend Greybeard rentals to friends and family.

This was our first visit to the Asheville area, so had no idea of where to stay. The Hatton House had received 5-star reviews and we were fortunate that it was available for the dates we needed!
First of all, Black Mountain is a lovely little town! It is not \"tourist-y\" and has just enough stores and shops to give it a very unique feel. The location was great and within easy reach of Asheville and Cherokee.
Hatton House itself was beautiful! It is in Cheshire Village, a small development of homes. The views of the mountains are spectacular! The home was very cozy and comfortable with all the conveniences of home. We even met some of the neighbors who lived there who were warm and friendly!
The only negative for us was that the wooden stairs had no carpeting or treads. We had our dogs with us (Hatton House is pet friendly... yay!), one of which is a golden retriever. He has difficulty with bare wood but got up the steps okay. However, when it was time to come down, he slipped and fell from the top of the stairs to the bottom. It was frightening and we felt very lucky he didn't break any bones! Needless to say, we kept him downstairs for the rest of our visit.
Because of Hatton House and the town of Black Mountain, we would love to come back and visit again! It was beautiful!

We were in town for a soccer tournament and the rental was perfect. It was close to the fields and the neighborhood was fantastic. Wonderful to walk and let the boys explore. The house was well equipped in the kitchen and the beds, bedding and towels were perfect. Very cozy but big enough for all of us. The neighborhood was just so charming we thoroughly enjoyed this rental property. Greybeard Rentals was also fantastic to work with and they made me feel confident we would have a perfect rental. Which we did :)

The house is very convenient for our family and especially is the kitchen well equippped. MY only concern is that there is no railing on the stone steps and I personally needed a hand up too the wood steps. The flow of the house is very good for a family.

The staff was friendly and helpful, the house was clean, the furniture was nice, the kitchen was fully stocked. The rooms were a little small but the staff informed us of that prior to our stay. This house is right near downtown black mountain and easily accessible to Asheville. We had a wonderful weekend away from the heat of Atlanta.

The townhouse was lovely and the open kitchen area was wonderful for the flow of family and friends. My family there said you all were quick to respond to the fireplace not working and it was lovely after your assistance. I would rent this home again anytime needed.

Hatton House and Greybeard Rentals were both awesome. This is our 2nd year staying at Hatton House. We enjoy the peacefulness of the community and the location. We are just a couple of minutes from I-40 and can get to Asheville in about 15 minutes. I have personally rented from Greybeard Rentals for many years and found them to be very easy to work with, professional and friendly. It was a great weekend getaway place to stay with friends.

It was fantastic!!! Our group enjoyed the spacious townhome. The front porch was wonderful to sit and reflect. Parking for three cars proved to be challenging.

WHERE IS THIS HOUSE LOCATED?

Hatton House is located in Black Mountain. This home is approximately 5 minutes to downtown Black Mountain and approximately 20 minutes to Asheville. Click on the location tab above to locate this house on a map.

WHAT IS YOUR REFUND/CANCELLATION POLICY?

If you need to cancel your reservation and the property you had reserved re-rents for the time which you had it reserved, you will be refunded all money you had paid minus an $89 cancellation fee. If you cancel and the property does not re-rent for your reserved dates, you will lose all money you have paid to that point. For this reason, we recommend that you purchase trip insurance. Please call 888-228-8008 before making a reservation if you have questions or concerns.

WHAT IS YOUR PET POLICY AND FEE?

Hatton House is specified as "pet friendly" and dogs are allowed. Unfortunately, due to common allergy problems we cannot allow cats. For the privilege of bringing your dog, there is a minimum charge of $100 nonrefundable fee per pet. A maximum of two dogs are allowed unless you have received special permission from the property manager or homeowner. Any damage that may be caused by your pet during your stay will be paid for out of your security deposit or charged to the credit card we have on file. There is a county-wide leash law in place. When taking your dog outside of a gated area, please ensure that they are on a leash.

WHAT ARE CHECK-IN/CHECK OUT TIMES?

Check-in time is 4pm and check out time is 10am. It is important that we adhere to these times, because there is a chance that someone else will be checking out/in before or after you and we need sufficient time to ready the house for the next renter. If you wish to check-in early, there is a $50 early check-in fee that can be added on to your reservation. Early check-in is only available if someone is not checking out on the morning of your arrival.

WHERE DO WE CHECK-IN/PICK UP KEYS?

Hatton House has a keyless entry system. You will receive a unique access code within 3 days of your arrival, allowing you to go straight to the house and check-in starting at 4pm.

WHAT IF THERE IS AN EMERGENCY DURING OUR STAY?

If you are having a medical emergency, dial 911 from the phone in your rental home or cell phone.

We hope that your stay in the area will be relaxing and without incident, but should you need to get in touch with Greybeard, we have someone on call 24 hours a day. Just call our office at 828-669-1072 and dial extension 203, which will forward to the cell phone of the person on call. Please do not hesitate to call us if something needs immediate attention, but if your question or concern can wait, we ask that you call the office during normal office hours.

WHEN ARE HOMES WITH GAS LOGS IN OPERATION?

Gas logs are not in operation May through September due to the warmer summer months.

Absolutely NO fires are permitted outside unless the property is fitted with a fire ring/fire pit. You cannot bring your own portable fire pit.

IS WIFI SERVICE INCLUDED WITH MY RENTAL RESERVATION? WILL I HAVE CELL PHONE SERVICE AT MY RENTAL?

Wifi is available at Hatton House. Please note that Greybeard Rentals does not guarantee internet connectivity or speed. Each individual homeowner contracts directly with an internet service provider, and due to a variety of reasons, Greybeard does not guarantee service. Our Black Mountain and Asheville offices have wifi service available if needed.

Cell phone service is not guaranteed. You may check with your service provider to see if service is available.
