Important to Note: This house is dog-friendly, with a $100.00 non-refundable fee per dog (maximum of two). Sorry, this home is not cat-friendly due to common allergies. An indoor and outdoor water filtration system was added in 2020. 

There is an exterior security camera. Firewood is not provided as part of the rental. We recommend picking up a bundle of firewood at one of our local Ingles grocery stores. During the colder winter months, icy and/or snowy road conditions can become extreme. From December through March, please come prepared with AWD or 4WD vehicles.

Once the heat was fixed on the main level it was enjoyable. The TV’s were a little challenging. The place is nice, clean, and comfortable. The view is spectacular. We had a good time.

The place was amazing. Took a minute to get use to the up and down mountain. It’s flat lands in Indiana. Ha. Hope tube was great addition. Not sure if your hot tube guy came Wednesday. Only issue was found a lot of nails and screws in road front of house where we parked our car. Picked a bunch up and put on counter but still a lot more. Hate to have a flat in there.

Perfect Escape

There is not a whole lot to say other than WOW. The house was perfect in every way, but the location is the best part. There aren’t many house on the Blue Ridge Parkway, so it’s super close to all the good hikes. Keep in mind, it’s a decent drive to get back down into the city (20ish minutes), so plan accordingly with food and drinks. The house is also great for two families. The primary level has the master, while the lower level has a bunk room and king room as well. We loved that there is no TV on the main level, there doesn’t need to be one because of the beautiful views you get. The outside patio is great with a fire pit and hot tub. The highlight of the trip was seeing all of the black bears! My only suggestion is to have a few more larger garbage cans, especially on the lower level. We will certainly be coming back!

Loved the quiet and secluded nature of the property. Beautiful views, wonderful house, great amenities, great location, access to so many things we enjoyed. Wish there had been some windows with screens to allow the cool breezes in overnight. No other concerns, great communication from management company, good price point, we had a magical time!

Perfect Mountain Home

We wanted to be close to Asheville for our fall vacation but also have views that we don't get to see in Indiana! This home was perfect for that. When you walk in you immediately see the mountain range and popping colors from the trees with the full wall of glass. The house was set up perfectly for our family and the kitchen had everything we needed for our stay. Mornings and evenings were the best with a crackling fire, hot coffee or wine, and stunning scenery. Both my husband and I agree that the king bed is the most comfortable bed we have ever slept on. Top notch home. Thank you!

We had a wonderful time at Blue Ridge Bliss. We did come across an issue with a recent contractor not cleaning up after themselves outside, but once we notified Greybeard, they were very speedy and immediately sent out someone to survey the property and ensure all was clean. We would 100% rent this home again. Gorgeous views, comfortable beds, incredible kitchens, and our dogs were in heaven.

We couldn't have asked for a better place for our family getaway. This house feels like a home that has literally everything you could use. The kitchen is fully stocked and the rental company is happy to arrange for firewood delivery which is a huge plus!

The house was well stocked and had all the amenities you could need. Spectacular views from the deck or hot tub. Very relaxing trip playing in the mountians as well as the nearby towns.

The house was really outstanding. Very clean and the kitchen practically had one of everything. The was so perfect, and we really enjoyed our stay. The only complaint would be two of the mattresses need to be replaced. The mattress on the platform bed on the bottom floor was so soft it was like sleeping in a marshmallow. If we slept on the very edge it was tolerable, but it is way too soft. I actually thought it was maybe a sleep number bed that was set at a level of 1 out of 100, but it was not.
The mattress on the middle floor was also not great, my parents (in their 70's) had a difficult time with it as well.
I know that margins might be tight on rentals (this was a pretty expensive rental), but throw a couple of firmer mattresses in the house.
The mattress on the bunk bed was great, nice and firm.

The house was beyond our expectations. The view was absolutely beautiful, and we enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit. The beds were very comfortable and the layout was excellent for our family. The added bonus was to see the neighborhood bear wonder through the yard!

The views and quality of this home stood out of the rest and that's why we chose blue ridge bliss. The stunning Mountain View's, wrap around deck, stone patio with hot tub and hammocks were absolutely perfect for enjoying the outdoors.

The home is very very well equipped, much better than other homes we've stayed in. The kitchen especially was a huge selling point. There is every appliance under the sun and everything you need to cook large meals.

It's 20 min from Asheville, up winding mountain roads and totally worth it. We fit 5 adults and a dog very comfortably, lots of room to spread out. Great tables for board games and puzzles

Bonus: on our drive in and out of town we say a mother black bear and THREE young babies, twice!

Loved the deck, the view and the hot tub. The location was pretty great as well. Easy access to Blue Ridge Parkway. Weaverville and Asheville were very close.

We went to Blue Bliss with 2 other couples and the accommodations were perfect. The kitchen was huge and open to the dining room so preparing meals kept everyone involved. The 3 rooms were separate and each had their own bathroom. There was a great open area for everyone to congregate in, but anyone staying up late night could go to the loft area so as not to disrupt anyone that had already gone to bed. The location felt very secluded, and the 10 minute drive to and from the city was winding and scenic. Would definitely recommend this cabin for anyone looking to visit Asheville for a couple days.

The view from this house is breathtaking - from waking up to the misty mountains in the morning to the brilliant orange sky at sunset. Lots of room within the house - and we'll equipped kitchen for plenty of cooking.

My family loved the view and amenities at the house. We were able to use the hot tub and fire pit which is exactly why we picked the rental. We also loved being able to have our dog join us for the weekend and the space was perfect for him to safely explore.

This house is absolutely beautiful. It accommodated 3 adults and 2 kids (9 and 14 yrs) perfectly. The house had pretty much all the items to make our stay comfortable. The master bedroom mattress felt a bit like we sunk into the mattress which made me wonder of any back issues the next day but that never happened. It was very comfortable. My boys loved the bunk beds and the games. The view is amazing. The fire pit was a hit and firewood was actually supplied even though the information given states it wouldn't be. There are 2 hiking locations within walking distance from the house which was great. The house is right off the blue ridge parkway. My only initial issue was the road to the house after turning off the paved road. It's a dirt/gravel road. There's a slightly sharp left turn and then just a bit steep leading up to the house. There are a couple other houses on both sides of the dirt road but you have to keep going just another few seconds to reach this house. It may seem like the road doesn't end but it's only the first time I drove up that it concerned me. After I saw how it was, I didn't have any problems driving the road. We also had a 4WD SUV but I think a 2WD would be ok. It really was just that initial feeling of the unknown for me, however, I feel people renting this house should be aware of the road leading up to the house and would highly recommend getting there during daylight. With that being said, this house is definitely worth it and would recommend.

We felt like a family member told us "oh you're more than welcome to come stay at our place while we are out of town". It had everything that you can imagine you might need. Plenty of linens. Plenty of books and games for family of all ages. We can't love it here enough

Blue Ridge Bliss is a beautiful home with a spectacular view. Kitchen was well stocked. Beds were very comfortable. Will definitely stay again. The Greybeard team is very pleasant and accommodating!

You cannot beat the views from this property! We loved sitting on the deck or in the hot tub and enjoying them. The house was very comfortable and well appointed. The location was great as well - right off the parkway and only 20 minutes from Asheville.

WHERE IS THIS HOUSE LOCATED?

Blue Ridge Bliss is located in Weaverville right off the Blue Ridge Parkway. This home is approximately 10 minutes to Weaverville, and approximately 20 minutes to Asheville. Click on the location tab above to locate this house on a map.

WHAT IS YOUR REFUND/CANCELLATION POLICY?

If you need to cancel your reservation and the property you had reserved re-rents for the time which you had it reserved, you will be refunded all money you had paid minus an $89 cancellation fee. If you cancel and the property does not re-rent for your reserved dates, you will lose all money you have paid to that point. For this reason, we recommend that you purchase trip insurance. Please call 888-228-8008 before making a reservation if you have questions or concerns.

WHAT IS YOUR PET POLICY AND FEE?

Blue Ridge Bliss is specified as "pet friendly" and dogs are allowed. Unfortunately, due to common allergy problems we cannot allow cats. For the privilege of bringing your dog, there is a minimum charge of $100 nonrefundable fee per pet. A maximum of two dogs are allowed unless you have received special permission from the property manager or homeowner. Any damage that may be caused by your pet during your stay will be paid for out of your security deposit or charged to the credit card we have on file. There is a county-wide leash law in place. When taking your dog outside of a gated area, please ensure that they are on a leash.

WHAT ARE CHECK-IN/CHECK OUT TIMES?

Check-in time is 4pm and check out time is 10am. It is important that we adhere to these times, because there is a chance that someone else will be checking out/in before or after you and we need sufficient time to ready the house for the next renter. If you wish to check-in early, there is a $50 early check-in fee that can be added on to your reservation. Early check-in is only available if someone is not checking out on the morning of your arrival.

WHERE DO WE CHECK-IN/PICK UP KEYS?

Blue Ridge Bliss has a keyless entry system. You will receive a unique access code within 3 days of your arrival, allowing you to go straight to the house and check-in starting at 4pm. 

WHAT IF THERE IS AN EMERGENCY DURING OUR STAY?

If you are having a medical emergency, dial 911 from the phone in your rental home or cell phone.

We hope that your stay in the area will be relaxing and without incident, but should you need to get in touch with Greybeard, we have someone on call 24 hours a day. Just call our office at 828-669-1072 and dial extension 203, which will forward to the cell phone of the person on call. Please do not hesitate to call us if something needs immediate attention, but if your question or concern can wait, we ask that you call the office during normal office hours.

WHEN IS THE SECURITY DEPOSIT REFUNDED?

Security deposits are returned within 30 days of guest departure.

WILL THERE BE FIREWOOD AT THE HOUSE? WHEN ARE HOMES WITH GAS LOGS IN OPERATION?

Firewood is not supplied by Greybeard. Some houses will have small supply of firewood for renter use; however, it is best to purchase your own small bundle of wood or Duraflame pressed logs at the local grocery store

Cutting branches, limbs or trees on the property is strictly prohibited. You can use limbs found on the ground. Absolutely NO fires are permitted outside unless the property is fitted with a fire ring/fire pit. You cannot bring your own portable fire pit.

IS WIFI SERVICE INCLUDED WITH MY RENTAL RESERVATION? WILL I HAVE CELL PHONE SERVICE AT MY RENTAL?

Wifi is available at Blue Ridge Bliss. Please note that Greybeard Rentals does not guarantee internet connectivity or speed. Each individual homeowner contracts directly with an internet service provider, and due to a variety of reasons, Greybeard does not guarantee service. Our Black Mountain and Asheville offices have wifi service available if needed.

Cell phone service is not guaranteed. You may check with your service provider to see if service is available.
