Description

Perched 3000 feet above sea level, overlooking the sleepy town of Black Mountain, this 5 bedroom, 4 bath, 3 level home has a monopoly on short and long range mountain views. Close to town yet secluded on a mountain side, this home will tickle your senses. Each room has its own mountain theme. There are 2 large decks for entertaining or relaxing.
It is fully furnished with a large dining area and entertainment room that includes a pool table and foosball. 4 bedrooms include queen beds with the fifth containing log bunks capable of sleeping up to 6 children. This home easily sleeps 15 when you include the loft pullout love seat sleeper. If making memories and renewing your soul are your vacation goals, Almost Bearadise is where it will happen.

House layout:
The main floor has a bedroom with a queen bed and a TV; the master bedroom has a queen bed, a TV and a full bath (shower only, no tub). There is a full hall bath; the kitchen ; dining table seats 8 and the island has 4 stools.The living room has gas logs and a TV.
Upstairs has a loft with a twin sleeper; a bedroom with a queen bed and a TV; a full hall bath.
The bottom floor has game room with a pool table, Foosball, and an arcade game; den with electric fireplace and a TV. A bedroom with a queen bed and TV; the laundry room; a full hall bath; a bunk room with 2 sets of bunk beds (twin on top and full bed on bottom).
There is a great deck with rockers, a gas grill and incredible views!

Very Nice Clean House!Practically brand new. Entrance into driveway needs improvement.The a/c systems seemed to blow cold no matter how you adjusted the temperature.The directions to the house need to be revised for they are confusing, i.e. after the first stop sign it should read take a left at next stop sign and not at the 2nd stop sign!Overall we had a very enjoyable experience.

Great, except parking and the driveway needs a serious rethinking. Too steep and dangerous getting or out. The road to the house is treacherous, mostly passing another car. Also the kiterature says fireplace, but it was gas, not wood!!!

While this is the first time we've received this specific feedback for this home, I can understand how the road up to the home may be a bit daunting. Views this great do sometime come with a bit of a climb. :) We mention that the home has gas logs in the description and the amenity selection, but we will look for ways to better define this -- thanks for your feedback! This rental home is beautiful and had so much space for my family. The home was clean when we arrived and the views from the decks are breathtaking. The only complaint was the driveway, it was steep and gravel. Thankfully the renters in the home that shared a driveway allowed us to use their paved driveway throughout the week.

The home and view was absolutely spectacular! Unfortunately Tropical Storm Alberto hit during our vacation so we weren't able to enjoy the hiking and outdoor activities as planned. In fact, it rained so hard we were confined to the house for 3 full days. Having all the amenities on site made for a comfortable stay for our family of 10. My only complaint was that when I called to confirm that it was okay to deposit trash in the outside cans, I was told there was no trash pick up that week so we either had to leave all the trash in the kitchen, or put it in the dumpster at the rental office on trips to town. So we loaded trash bags in our cars. However, on Wednesday a trash truck did come to the house but we hadn't put anything in the cans.

This house is beautifully decorated, clean and comfortable. On top of all that, it is an ideal house for multiple generations. The adults were able to have quiet discussion while the elementary-aged children had a blast downstairs with the pool table, basketball game, darts, etc. Would definitely come back. And the view is gorgeous!

Enjoyed our stay at Almost Beardadise. Plenty of space for everyone. Loved being able to spend time with our children, their spouses, friends and a special granddaughter in a comfortable space.

Almost Bearadise was perfect for our family Christmas retreat. The kitchen was well equipped, the den and dining area accommodated our family comfortably, and the downstairs game room was awesome not only for our grandchildren but the adults as well. The bedrooms were comfortable and beautiful bathrooms well supplied with bath towels, etc. It was absolutely such a fun five days. We hope to return to your Bearadise in Black Mt. soon. Getting all our children together for even a dinner is a challenge, so we planned a weekend in the mountains to make this happen. Almost Bearadise was perfect for this vacation. We loved spending time on the decks enjoying the view. The house itself was extremely clean and comfortable due to its size. The large couch in the great room was perfect for our family of 10. We all loved the decor of the house and it was very clean and comfortable. The location was great too. I would definitely recommend this house. We were very pleased and hope to come back sometime.
