Angie's is centrally located and the perfect spot to enjoy everything the Asheville area has to offer! This spacious, 3-level, 4 bedroom, 4 bathroom home is thoughtfully appointed with family in mind and is sure to leave your group with lasting memories to cherish.

About the Home
• Open-concept living, dining, and kitchen on the main level with breakfast bar seating for 3, formal dining for up to 10, fireplace, and 55" 4K smart TV (125+ cable channels and streaming)
• A tavern-style game room on the lower level boasts a slate-bed pool table, bar height games table, dart board, large couch, and 55" 4K smart TV, adult exercise room with a weight bench, sports equipment, Peloton exercise bike, and laundry.
• Dedicated work area with an incredible view of the surrounding woodlands, equipped with a fully-stocked desk, Herman Miller Aeron ergonomic chair, and printer. 
• The upper level offers a second living room with a cozy 6-seater sectional (with a full-size sleeper), 65" 4K Smart TV, gas log fireplace, and dining for 4.
• Technology amenities include high-speed cable internet by Spectrum (400 Mbps download/20 Mbps upload speeds) and a mesh WiFi system with four access points to ensure a consistently strong connection anywhere in the home.
• Complimentary EV charging with a 40 amp charger with a J1772 connector. Tesla owners: be sure to bring your adapter.
• Up to 2 dogs are welcome, with an additional fee; two 36" dog crates, food & water bowls, and pet blankets are provided.

ANGIE'S STORY: "Our mom, Angie, loved bringing the family together for holidays and vacations, even as adults, and especially after the grandchildren came. She wanted to share the beauty of the Asheville area with those she most cared about. We know that this home would be at the top of her list of places to stay. The extended family enjoyed many adventures in the area, including hiking, river tubing, sightseeing, breweries, and shopping. At the end of the day, we were able to come back to a comfortable retreat that encouraged us to relax and spend time talking about our day while enjoying the beautiful natural environment the area is known for. We hope that our home will create some of those same memories for your family."

Please note: The road to Angie's is narrow and steep but paved. There are blind corners, neighbors walking, and children playing. Please drive slowly and with caution. The speed limit is 15 mph. This home has an outdoor security camera.

Best Spring Break Ever!

The entire family enjoyed our weeklong stay at this house (dog included). The house is well appointed with all kitchen necessities, lots of fun amenities for the adults and kids (games, darts, pool, hot tub). We loved the EV charger and it made travel around the city so convenient. Local restaurants were great. Lots of hiking trails within 20-25 minute drive. We look forward to coming back and exploring all the places we didn't get to!

Pictures do not do this home justice! The owners have put so much thought into every detail - there was nothing we would have changed. Well-equipped kitchen, plenty of blankets for the dogs, and towels for the hot tub. It was a rainy Christmas day but between all the games, and pool table it was perfect!

Thank you for a delightful stay! We are four older men who came to play golf in the area, and Angie's was such a nice place to call home. Convenient to all of the courses we played and an extremely well equipped property. Seriously, you folks have thought of everything. The attention to detail was unmatched by any home I have ever rented! I mean down to the nightlights that line the place!! The hot tub was clean and hot, although you should know that the jets at one of the seats was not working, but still great for sore bones and muscles after trekking up and down the fairways. Very well equipped kitchen, even though we only ate breakfast there, you could have cooked a Thanksgiving feast! Absolutely a marvelous experience. We even got used to the narrow drive up the hill and not once did we have to pull over or back down to let a car pass. It was incredible!! Thanks again for a wonderful stay. I would not hesitate to rent from you folks again in the future!!

Angie's Mountain Overlook was beautiful! Sunsets at night were awe inspiring! The house was better appointed than any other house we've ever rented. Our house of 5, plus our great dane loved it! Our only disappointment was the TV in the main viewing area had a screen that didn't work. We notified management, but it was never replaced/repaired during our stay. This would have made our evening movie viewing much more pleasant and comfortable. Everything else was perfect, though! Highly recommend this property...

Third time in a row for our annual family vakay. All 3 of my children, spouses and 4 grandsons and occasional friends all flow in and out. Home is well cared for and has everything that you could want, plus the walk down to the fishing pond and back up helps to offset all the food off of the grill. Most days people would scatter and do different activities and then convene for dinner and stories. Always a great experience with this home.

Our family had a great time! Plenty of room to spread out. Great selection of games. Kitchen had everything you need. We enjoyed being able to have our fur babies with us. Views were awesome! Definitely recommend this cabin!

Our little family made this trip our First Mountain Retreat....we plan to come back every year ! This house has absolutely the most gorgeous views and every amenity for her guest! I would consider Angies a 10 out of 5 star! Loved it❤️

The house is beautiful, with a great location and a well-stocked kitchen and great wifi for our kids to continue with their online learning. The owners have done a great job of providing all the house instructions online by category, which we found very helpful.

We rented this property to celebrate my husband's 60th birthday. It was an awesome place for the family to relax, spend quality time together and celebrate. The deck and screened porch were awesome. The sunset views magical. The home was very well done and we were very impressed with special touches added by the property owners. Greybeard Rentals was awesome to work with too. Thank you so much for the memorable visit.

FAQs

WHERE IS THIS HOUSE LOCATED?

Angie's Mountain Overlook is located in Fairview. This home is approximately 20 minutes to Asheville and 30 minutes to Chimney Rock. Click on the location tab above to locate this house on a map.

WHAT IS YOUR REFUND/CANCELLATION POLICY?

If you need to cancel your reservation and the property you had reserved re-rents for the time which you had it reserved, you will be refunded all money you had paid minus an $89 cancellation fee. If you cancel and the property does not re-rent for your reserved dates, you will lose all money you have paid to that point. For this reason, we recommend that you purchase trip insurance. Please call 888-228-8008 before making a reservation if you have questions or concerns.

WHAT IS YOUR PET POLICY AND FEE?

Angie's Mountain Overlook is specified as "pet friendly" and dogs are allowed. Unfortunately, due to common allergy problems we cannot allow cats. For the privilege of bringing your dog, there is a minimum charge of $100 nonrefundable fee per pet. A maximum of two dogs are allowed unless you have received special permission from the property manager or homeowner. Any damage that may be caused by your pet during your stay will be paid for out of your security deposit or charged to the credit card we have on file. There is a county-wide leash law in place. When taking your dog outside of a gated area, please ensure that they are on a leash.

WHAT ARE CHECK-IN/CHECK OUT TIMES?

Check-in time is 4pm and check out time is 10am. It is important that we adhere to these times, because there is a chance that someone else will be checking out/in before or after you and we need sufficient time to ready the house for the next renter. If you wish to check-in early, there is a $50 early check-in fee that can be added on to your reservation. Early check-in is only available if someone is not checking out on the morning of your arrival.

WHERE DO WE CHECK-IN/PICK UP KEYS?

Angie's Mountain Overlook has a keyless entry system. You will receive a unique access code within 3 days of your arrival, allowing you to go straight to the house and check-in starting at 4pm. 

WHAT IF THERE IS AN EMERGENCY DURING OUR STAY?

If you are having a medical emergency, dial 911 from the phone in your rental home or cell phone.

We hope that your stay in the area will be relaxing and without incident, but should you need to get in touch with Greybeard, we have someone on call 24 hours a day. Just call our office at 828-669-1072 and select option 1, which will forward to the cell phone of the person on call. Please do not hesitate to call us if something needs immediate attention, but if your question or concern can wait, we ask that you call the office during normal office hours.

WHEN ARE HOMES WITH GAS LOGS IN OPERATION?

Angie's Mountain Overlook has an indoor gas logs fireplace. Gas logs are not in operation May through September due to the warmer summer months. 

WILL THERE BE FIREWOOD PROVIDED?

Angie's Mountain Overlook has an outdoor fire pit. While firewood is not supplied by Greybeard, some houses may have a small leftover supply of firewood for renter use. However, we strongly recommend purchasing your own small bundle of wood or Duraflame pressed logs at the local grocery store. Cutting branches, limbs or trees on the property is strictly prohibited, but you can use limbs found on the ground. 

IS WIFI SERVICE INCLUDED WITH MY RENTAL RESERVATION? WILL I HAVE CELL PHONE SERVICE AT MY RENTAL?

Wifi is available at Angie's Mountain Overlook.  It is equipped with high-speed cable internet by Spectrum (400 Mbps download/20 Mbps upload speeds) and mesh Wi-Fi system with four access points to ensure a consistently strong connection anywhere in the home. Please note that Greybeard Rentals does not guarantee internet connectivity or speed. Each individual homeowner contracts directly with an internet service provider, and due to a variety of reasons, Greybeard does not guarantee service. Our Black Mountain and Asheville offices have wifi service available if needed.

Cell phone service is not guaranteed. You may check with your service provider to see if service is available.
