This winter, the North Carolina Arboretum will host Trolls: A Field Study. Created by Danish artist Thomas Dambo, these world-famous troll sculptures (crafted from materials like fallen branches, wooden pallets, and twigs) will be scattered throughout the Arboretum's forests to embark on a curious journey all their own to learn about humankind.
Treasure maps will be available for guests to track down these whimsical creatures, and six will be featured in the Arboretum’s Winter Lights exhibit. Over the years, Dambo’s exhibits have traveled all over the world, but Asheville will be the first host in North America! Don't miss this extraordinary exhibit that is sure to evoke a sense of wonder and imagination.
