Whether enjoying a quiet 10-minute walk to town or Lake Tomahawk to see the Seven Sisters' mountain range, the "Front Porch of Western North Carolina" is just moments away!

About the Home
• Open-concept living and dining room with 48" Smart TV for streaming, dining for 4, and breakfast bar seating for 4.
• Sunlight-filled kitchen with gas range, dishwasher, and drip-style coffee maker.
• Spacious screened-in porch with seating and access to the open-air deck with gas grill, seating for 2, and backyard.
• The cottage can be accessed from the front steps or the gravel path leading from the parking area to the back deck.

• Primary bedroom with king-size bed and en suite bathroom with double vanity and walk-in shower.
• Bedroom with queen-size bed and full bathroom (bathtub and shower combination) with hallway access.

Please note: This home does not allow pets. The garage is not available for guest use and serves as a home office for the homeowner. Included with the monthly rent is a $400 per month power allowance and a $100 per month water allowance. Any overage is to be reimbursed by the tenant. A $500 refundable security deposit is added to stays of 28+ nights or more.

You will have to go a LONG way to beat Park It and Greybeard Rentals. This home is simply stunning, we did not miss our home comforts! Greybeard Rentals are super professional, easy to work with and so helpful and friendly, thanks all round.

We had a delightful stay! We were so pleased with the accommodations and the location. We could walk to town and the home is wonderful. Our only hesitation in writing a positive review is that it may make this place too popular! We will want to return! Ha ha!There are steps to enter and an incline, but we had no challenges. This would only be a real challenge for someone with balance or climbing stair issues. But please don't stay away otherwise, we travel a lot and this place is a gem!We look forward to another visit soon!

Black Mountail Retreat

Park It - great 2-bedroom retreat home nestled in the beautiful fall color trees with daily walks around Lake Tomahawk and into downtown Black Mountain. Great proximity to every major hiking trail and entertainment venue.

Park It was a perfect oasis for our 1 month stay. The house was well set up, comfortable, lovely garden, screened in porch was perfect. Walking distance to Black Mountain’s center and Lake Tomahawk. Definitely coming back!!!!

We so enjoyed our visit at Park It. It was super clean, new, and we loved the porch and the ceiling fans. (My husband and I watched fireflies and enjoyed reading there.) The location was great. We walked to and around the lake down the street. (Very beautiful in the evenings.) We also enjoyed about a 10-minute walk to downtown. Very comfortable--we've already recommended it to friends!

A Perfect Rental

We stayed at "Park It" for 5 weeks and can only say how satisfied we were. This rental was the best we have had in Black Mountain and we recommend it highly. The residence is newly constructed, clean, with comfortable furnishings and beds and a fully stocked kitchen. Even better, it is a short walk to Lake Tomahawk and the downtown. A car is not necessary. Finally, the owners have planted beautiful flowers around the premises that add to the beauty of the location.
