You will wish you could "Linger Longer" at this impressive 8-bedroom, 9-bathroom, 3,800 sq. ft. lodge, conveniently located just a 5-minute walk from the heart of Montreat! For groups attending Montreat Conference Center activities or families planning a multi-generational vacation, there is room for everyone to comfortably experience the beauty of Western North Carolina.

About the Lodge
• A spacious, well-equipped kitchen will make cooking a breeze with two refrigerators, two stoves, two drip-style coffee pots (with an option for Keurig cups), and a pantry for grocery storage
• Formal dining for up to 16, with additional dining space on the covered deck
• The great room boasts comfortable seating, a dedicated workspace, and a TV with both cable and streaming capabilities
• Mountaintop views can be enjoyed from the main floor deck (10'x40'), the lower-level patio, and the upper-level balcony (8'x10')
• A charcoal grill is available for grilling
• Linger Longer Lodge provides sheets and towels for your visit. For your convenience, beds will be made for stays from mid-August through May. During the summer Montreat Conference season, typically from the 1st Saturday in June to the 1st Saturday in August, the linens will be delivered to the home and placed, folded, on each bed.

Overall

I organized a 50th reunion for 14 of my college friends. We needed 8 bedrooms each with their own bathroom. A kitchen big enough to prepare meals, and a common room big enough for everyone to sit and visit. We found all that and more at Linger Longer Lodge. It will definitely be one we will consider for a future reunion.

Overall

This was one of the cleanest cabins we've rented. The home was beautifully decorated - loved the rugs. Customer service was great.We didn't need anything but they sent multiple texts reminding us they were there if needed. Great experience - would highly recommend.

Great Home for Large Groups

Overall

This was our second year in Linger Longer. The home was perfect for our church retreat group of adults. The many bedrooms with en suites was so convenient. The location to Assembly Inn and Lake Susan was great. The kitchen was well appointed and the decks off each level were perfect for morning coffee and gatherings in the evening. The only downside of the home is the lack of sound proofing between floors which is to be expected in a “cabin” style home.

Overall

House was incredibly clean. The only thing I’d suggest is stocking the house with more paper towels (2 rolls isn’t enough. Also, there’s a need for more Tupperware to take advantage of leftovers.

Wonderful, clean house! Everything was perfect except for the couches! It’s hard to stay on them as they sag so much that you slice off of them. Very old and need to be replaced. Thanks!
