Located within the tranquil mountain community of Montreat, Bearly Behaving is mere minutes away from numerous hiking and biking trails and less than a 5-minute drive to Lake Susan, Robert Lake Park, and the Montreat Conference Center. 

About the Home
• Immaculate screened-in porch with bistro lighting, cozy sofa, and table for 4.
• Living room with TV for streaming and access to the deck. The gas logs are not for guest use.
• Dining area with seating for 6 and breakfast bar seating for 4.
• Well-equipped kitchen with dishwasher and combination drip-style and Keurig coffee maker.
• The paved, circular driveway provides easy and ample parking. Please note: there is a set of exterior stairs from the driveway to the home's main level.
• A true 'treat,' Bearly Behaving has central HVAC!

• Main floor bedroom with king-size bed and en suite bathroom with washer and dryer, jetted soaking tub, and walk-in shower.
• Upper-level bedroom with queen-size bed.
• Upper-level bedroom with full-size bed and twin-size bed with trundle. A full bathroom, with a walk-in shower, can be accessed from the hallway.
• A sleeper sofa is available in the upstairs loft.

Please note: This home provides sheets and towels. For your convenience, beds will be made for stays from mid-August through May. During the summer Montreat Conference season—typically from the 1st Saturday in June to the 1st Saturday in August—the linens will be delivered to the home and available in gray laundry bags.

Dear Greybeard:
I have been renting with you for many years and the experience is always excellent. Bearly Behaving was very nice. Their mattresses and pillows could be improved upon. With regard to linens, I wish that the linens could be included as part of the rental fee, and that the beds could be made when we arrive. Bringing ones own sheets is usually only required at girl scout camp, budget accommodations, and youth hostels. Obviously, your rental properties are of high quality, and in our opinion, linens should be included. I don't want to have to make and strip my bed while on vacation. Likewise, taking out the trash should be part of the rental fee. These are minor things, but every time we rent from Greybeard this bothers us, and we know it bothers friends of ours who also rent from you. So, we decided to let you know our thoughts on these matters. Sincerely, Mary Jane Olson
