Chimney Rock State Park

Chimney Rock State Park, established in 2007, offers 75-mile views that hover over Hickory Nut Gorge and Lake Lure, hiking trails for all ages and a 404 foot waterfall. Family-friendly programs are never in short supply at the park with everything from rock climbing, bird walks, naturalist programs. The highest elevation at Chimney Rock is 2,480 ft, which you can access from the Skyline Trail.
