Hosted at the Adventure Center of Asheville, the 5th Annual Winter Wonder Walk will take place on November 28-29. December 5-6, and December 12-14, 2025, from 6-8:30 PM. The Winter Wonder Walk captures the magic and wonder of the winter season like no other! Enjoy outdoor live-action theater, shop from local makers, climb a ropes course amongst thousands of glow lights, throw snowballs at our silly Snow Sprites, and sip a steaming cup of hot cocoa.
Guests are invited to literally step inside a life-sized storybook and be transported into the magical world of Winterland. The pages are brought to life with a live-action immersive story walk on an outdoor trail complete with live characters, so many twinkling lights, and Asheville's largest snowball fight.
Sponsored by Literacy Together, their S'Mitten With Books campaign is inspiring kids to read. Children 10 and under who read 10 books (and fill out this form completely) will receive free admission to the Winter Wonder Walk!
