New Belgium Brewing will host its beloved annual event, Tour de Fat, on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at 11:30 AM. Tour de Fat is a community-driven celebration centered around bicycles and beer. In 1999, New Belgium launched the event and has presented it annually in Asheville and Fort Collins, Colorado, ever since.
Schedule of Festivities:
- 11:30 am Bike Parade through the River Arts District
- 12 pm New Belgium’s Liquid Center Opens
- Paraders returns to New Belgium Brewing for Tour de Fat
- 1 pm Tour de Fat opens w/ Carin Metzger and DJ Kent Mettle
- 1:30 pm Electrolust
- 2:30 pm Slow Ride Competition w/ Marz Hooligan on piano
- 3:00 pm Sam Greenfield
- 4:00 pm Lydia Davis, aerialist artist & Toybox, America’s Favorite Cartoon Witch
- 4:30 pm Bike Give Away Competition at the Mainstage hosted by Cayla Clark & Donny Bishop from Blind Date Live!
- 5:00 pm Polyrhythmics
- 6:00 pm Tour de Fat concludes
- 8:30 pm Last Call from New Belgium’s Liquid Center
- 9:00 pm New Belgium’s Liquid Center closes
Traditionally, Tour de Fat features a pedal-powered bicycle parade with costumed riders of all ages among the fold. You'll also enjoy music, games, entertainment, and plenty of New Belgium beer pouring from the taps during the event. Tour de Fat benefits bicycle advocacy and nonprofit organizations in the cities. More than $5 million has been raised to support bike advocacy, education, and trails.
