This Valentine’s Day, skip the hearts and flowers and embrace something truly anti-romantic. Hi-Wire's Biltmore Village location will host its annual Cupid is Stupid Car Smash on Saturday, February 14, 2026, from 1-4 PM.
This fully organized (and safety-minded) car-smashing experience will provide protective eyewear and an assortment of officially sanctioned “bludgeoning devices” to get the job done, along with a car generously sacrificed for the cause. Bring a few bucks, take a few swings, enjoy great beer, and celebrate Valentine’s Day in the most cathartic way possible.
That evening, keep the dark vibes going by attending Hi-Wire's annual My Bloody Valentine Emo Prom from 7-11 PM in the event space at the same location. Channel your inner angst with band tees, studded belts, ripped tights, messy hair, and smeared makeup (if it looks like you cried in the bathroom at prom, you’re doing it right). All black. No exceptions. What you can expect:
- Local DJ spinning emo anthems + pop-punk heartbreakers
- Prom King + Queen Crowning (the most tragic royalty wins)
- Specialty Themed Cocktails + Mocktails inspired by love gone wrong
- Emo Prom Photo-Ops to capture your best “dead inside but hot” look
Come sing your black heart out and dance unapologetically in the dark of night. Tickets are $10 per person and can be purchased online in advance.
