Lake Eden Arts Festival (LEAF)

The annual LEAF Global Arts Festival is set to take place this October in a new location: Deerfields in Mills River, NC. While the location is changing, attendees can still expect amazing musical performances and opportunities to explore the arts, dance, and outdoor adventures. Previously held on the Lake Eden grounds, where the Historic Black Mountain College was located in Black Mountain, North Carolina, the festival is "turning a new leaf" in 2026 to allow for further event growth and evolution. 

One thing that makes the LEAF Global Arts Festival especially unique is that all donations and festival proceeds support arts education programming in the local community as well as on a global scale. Beginning in 2004, LEAF Global Arts Schools and Streets has provided programs to over 55,000 youth in 20 different Western North Carolina locations. LEAF Global Arts also offers cultural preservation programs in 10 different countries.
