This revamped version of the citywide music festival (previously called AVL Fest) presented by Wicked Weed Brewing and Worthwhile Sounds returns in 2026 from Thursday, August 6, to Sunday, August 9.
AVL Sounds Fest will take place across 20+ venues throughout Asheville, taking on a “showcase style” format with several standalone headliners performing at the larger venues and smaller acts filling area concert halls, clubs, and outdoor venues, for over 100 performances throughout the weekend.
