Asheville Orchid Festival

The North Carolina Arboretum will host the annual Asheville Orchid Festival on Saturday, April 13, and Sunday, April 14 from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. The event will cost $5 plus regular Arboretum parking fees. Children 12 and under are free. On Friday, April 12, there will be a Sneak Preview night from 4:00 - 8:00 pm. 

This event will feature hundreds of beautifully crafted orchid displays, and experts will be on-site to assist both novice and advanced orchid growers. In addition to viewing these displays, attendees can purchase cutting-edge orchid hybrids and varieties from vendors from across the United States and Ecuador. 

Saturday Program Schedule:

• 10:00 a.m. | “A Walk through the World of Orchids”- by Marc Burchette Orchid Extraordinaire. A guided tour through the fabulous orchid exhibits
• 1:00 p.m. | “Journey of An Orchid Seedpod"- by Bridget Uzar of Carter and Holmes
• 2:15 p.m. | Orchid Repotting Clinic- by Graham Ramsey
