Carolina Mountain Cheese Festival

This festival features the craft of cheese-making from the farm to the dinner table and also plenty of opportunities to purchase local cheese! The event includes cheese-centered workshops, cheese pairings, demonstrations, and family-friendly fun which includes adorable baby animals.

The festival's proceeds benefit the Western North Carolina Cheese Trail and its mission to "promote the production and sale of WNC artisan cheeses, facilitate consumer education, and encourage tourism to the region to benefit member producers."

Ticket levels:  

• Early Entry: $25 - entry at noon and on-site parking
• General Admission: $14 - entry at 1 p.m. and free off-site parking & shuttle service to the venue
• General admission tickets day of: $20 (if the event is not sold out, purchasing will begin at 12:45 PM).
• Children under the age of 12 are admitted free of charge with a ticketed guest.

Please note: pets are not permitted at the festival. This year's festival will be at Oak and Grist Distilling Company in Black Mountain. Ticket and event info coming in March 2023.
