Description

This amazing log home is located in The Preserve at Wolf Laurel. The Preserve is a private, mountain retreat neighborhood located in Western North Carolina, near Burnsville, and only 30 miles from Asheville. Our guests have access to the horse stables and hiking trails. For winter sports, skiing and tubing are close by at Wolf Ridge Ski Resort. During the summer months, you'll enjoy whitewater rafting, zip-lining, and many more activities that are not too far away.

The house layout:
Main floor: kitchen and laundry room; dining table seats 6; the living room has gas logs and a large TV; master bedroom with king bed, TV and full bathroom; another bedroom with 2 twin beds; a full bathroom in the hallway (shower only, no tub); a 3rd bedroom with a queen bed.
Upstairs is a loft area with sofa and board games.
There is a wonderful deck with a gas grill.

Please note: 4WD or AWD is a must during the winter months.
Zen Den is pet friendly, with additional fee.

Phenomenal property, with fully-stocked chef's kitchen and everything that was needed to make the most of our time there! Very welcoming to our two dogs too, who loved everything about the property as much as we did! We would be honored to stay again in the future!

The cabin was wonderful and every bit as lovely as it appeared in the photos. Everything was clean and the cabin was stocked with every conceivable item you might need. We particularly loved the fact that there were toys and a bed for our dogs :) We couldn't rate the cabin any higher. The owners are obviously very considerate and left all sorts of useful tips and suggestions on things to do in the area too.. The only disappointment was that there were less hikes to do in the community itself than we'd hoped. We'd definitely stay there again despite that though!

Beautiful house with great views. Well stocked kitchen with everything needed to make meals and have fun cooking. Great location with hiking trails available within walking distance from the house.
