2 separate levels of deck for experiencing the Blue Ridge Mountains.
2 Fireplaces.
Modern Kitchen, granite counters and stainless appliances.
10 foot dining room table with million dollar views.
Antique stain glass windows throughout.
Private atmosphere engulfs this treasure nestled on a lofty mountain surrounded by forest.

Layout for main floor: Living room with gas logs, dining seats 8; great kitchen with gas cooktop; a full hall bath; a bedroom with a queen bed, an enclosed sun porch with a futon;
downstairs: a bedroom with a queen bed; a full hall bath; a den with a twin pullout chair, gas logs and large screen TV.

A 4-person hot-tub on the lower deck, added in March 2018 for your enjoyment.

Everything about the rental process was seamless and easy. The home was clean and appeared in person just like it did online. We highly recommend renting with Greybeard.

My husband and I needed a place to rest our souls after a particularly stressful season. This home provided an opportunity to take a deep breath, look at God's creation, and remember what is most important in life. The hot tub was also a wonderful way to soak away some tension.

The Winterpast home is very well represented with the online virtual tour. It was remote enough to enjoy a quiet week away with gorgeous mountain views unobstructed by buildings and relax, but also close enough to downtown Asheville to go explore. There's a grocery store, gas, starbucks, all very close to this location at the bottom of the hill. We were able to enjoy use of the grill and outdoor hot tub. In addition to the mountain views, we pretty regularly saw a mamma black bear and her two cubs travelling up and down the hill (from a safe distance in our vehicle).<br/>We appreciated the ease of check in and check out with the keyless entry. Greybeard was very considerate and quick with any rental emergencies or concerns. Additionally the add on options are worth their expense, the couples massage is actually a steal. Best spa experience and I would expect to pay that amount for one person let alone two!

Beautiful, private retreat with an amazing view! Photos do not do the property justice. Long-range mountain views. Complete privacy on the top of the mountain.We saw beautiful sunsets and watched summer storms come rolling in. Well-designed, gourmet kitchen. The house was incredibly clean and very well-maintained. We brought our very well-behaved four-year-old and all three of us loved the house. One caveat, we brought a small blowup mattress for her to sleep on in our room. The two bedrooms that are available are not on the same floor. Overall this is an amazing house and we would love to stay here again.
