Description

Sugarhaus is a bright, open cottage with a great deck overlooking the mountains. It is comfortable and roomy with a large great room for gathering around the fireplace. The upstairs bunk room allows the house to accomodate a group but the downstairs is perfect for a few couples trying to get away. Nestled in Ridgecrest, in the beautiful mountains above quaint Black Mountain and 20 minutes to the arts and restaurants of Asheville, Sugarhaus is a wonderful place for families or friends to get together in one of the most desirable areas of the country. House layout for the main floor includes:
master bedroom with Queen and twin bed and full bath, second bedroom also has a queen and twin bed and full bath, and a sleeping nook with double bed. There is a third full hall bath with shower only on the main floor. Upstairs one bedroom includes 3 twins and 1 full bed. LINENS (sheets and towels) are INCLUDED for your convenience.

Sugarhaus is also available as a monthly rental. Rent would be $1500 per month.
Included with the monthly rent is $100 per month power allowance and $50 per month water allowance. Any overage to be reimbursed by tenant.

We had a great time with family. When we first arrived it was noted no hot water. My husband determined that hot water heater was not on and he was able to fix. We also found a cheese puff in couch from previous guests. We enjoyed downtown Black Mountain, ate lunch at Veranda and dinner at Trailhead. Everyone was friendly and both meals were fantastic. We plan on returning again sometime to create more memories

The Sugarhaus provided the perfect space for our family from three different parts of the country to gather during the Christmas Holidays. The bedrooms were spacious and cozy. The living room with the fireplace was so inviting and comfortable with plenty of space for the children and adults to interact. The kitchen was well furnished and so functional.

Beautiful home, comfortably slept 7 people and could have accommodated a larger party.

We did have some ants in the house and the beginning of a wasp nest right outside the door, but these are seasonal issues.

Our family stayed in Sugarhaus while preparing for our daughter's wedding. There was plenty of room for all of us. The large table made a great work space for frosting cupcakes and making bouquets. The beds were all comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. The loft was such fun for the girls to laugh and spend special time together. Greybeard Realty was wonderful when we needed to add an extra day. It was a very special place for a very special time! We hope to come back and visit when we don't have to put together a wedding and can enjoy the beautiful mountains!

The cabin was very nice and clean. It is near Ridgecrest and during the summer it is a great place to get away and relax from the busy life at home. Our group included adult children and grand children so with extended family it was just that much better.
