Description

Find rest and relaxation at this authentic log cabin with modern amenities. Fox and Crow Cabin is located near the quaint town of Weaverville and offers guests the tranquility of the countryside with the convenience of being within 10 miles to downtown Asheville.

Enjoy the sounds of birds chirping and soft rain falling on the roof as you effortlessly rock in the all-wood rockers on the front porch of the cabin. Venture out on a brief hike and take in the peaceful views of the beautiful pond that is located on the property. Don't be surprised if you catch sight of the abundant wildlife such as the deer and turkey that sometimes roam the property. Fox and Crow also offers an easy drive to many area hiking trails, The Blue Ridge Parkway, The French Broad River, UNCA, The Biltmore Estate, and River Arts District.

Inside the home, take in the beautiful details of this log home and enjoy the local art that adorns the walls. The main level living room is perfect for those cooler, mountain nights to cozy up and enjoy the ambiance and warmth of the gas fireplace while enjoy your favorite television show (Smart TV with cable included). For those that need to stay connected while on vacation, there's a small desk and Wi-Fi. Prepare delicious meals in the fully equipped kitchen with additional amenities like dishwasher and standard coffee maker. Dine at the beautiful, wood banquet table with seating for 6. The main floor also has a large laundry room with lots of storage, as well as a full hall bath with a walk-in shower only.

Both bedrooms on the upper level have a king bed and TVs. There's a large jack and jill bathroom shared between both king bedrooms.

Fox and Crow is also pet friendly with an additional pet fee. Please note: for security reasons, there is an outdoor camera that faces the driveway.

WHERE IS THIS HOUSE LOCATED?

Fox and Crow is located in Weaverville. This home is approximately 10 minutes to downtown Weaverville, and approximately 15 minutes to Asheville. Click on the location tab above to locate this house on a map.

WHAT IS YOUR REFUND/CANCELLATION POLICY?

If you need to cancel your reservation and the property you had reserved re-rents for the time which you had it reserved, you will be refunded all money you had paid minus an $89 cancellation fee. If you cancel and the property does not re-rent for your reserved dates, you will lose all money you have paid to that point. For this reason, we recommend that you purchase trip insurance. Please call 888-228-8008 before making a reservation if you have questions or concerns.

WHAT IS YOUR PET POLICY AND FEE?

Fox and Crow is specified as "pet friendly" and dogs are allowed. Unfortunately, due to common allergy problems we cannot allow cats. For the privilege of bringing your dog, there is a minimum charge of $100 nonrefundable fee per pet. A maximum of two dogs are allowed unless you have received special permission from the property manager or homeowner. Any damage that may be caused by your pet during your stay will be paid for out of your security deposit or charged to the credit card we have on file. There is a county-wide leash law in place. When taking your dog outside of a gated area, please ensure that they are on a leash.

WHAT ARE CHECK-IN/CHECK OUT TIMES?

Check-in time is 4pm and check out time is 10am. It is important that we adhere to these times, because there is a chance that someone else will be checking out/in before or after you and we need sufficient time to ready the house for the next renter. If you wish to check-in early, there is a $50 early check-in fee that can be added on to your reservation. Early check-in is only available if someone is not checking out on the morning of your arrival.

WHERE DO WE CHECK-IN/PICK UP KEYS?

Fox and Crow has a keyless entry system. You will receive a unique access code within 3 days of your arrival, allowing you to go straight to the house and check-in starting at 4pm. 

WHAT IF THERE IS AN EMERGENCY DURING OUR STAY?

If you are having a medical emergency, dial 911 from the phone in your rental home or cell phone.

We hope that your stay in the area will be relaxing and without incident, but should you need to get in touch with Greybeard, we have someone on call 24 hours a day. Just call our office at 828-669-1072 and dial extension 203, which will forward to the cell phone of the person on call. Please do not hesitate to call us if something needs immediate attention, but if your question or concern can wait, we ask that you call the office during normal office hours.

WHEN IS THE SECURITY DEPOSIT REFUNDED?

Security deposits are returned within 30 days of guest departure.

WILL THERE BE FIREWOOD AT THE HOUSE? WHEN ARE HOMES WITH GAS LOGS IN OPERATION?

Firewood is not supplied by Greybeard. Some houses will have small supply of firewood for renter use; however, it is best to purchase your own small bundle of wood or Duraflame pressed logs at the local grocery store

Cutting branches, limbs or trees on the property is strictly prohibited. You can use limbs found on the ground. Absolutely NO fires are permitted outside unless the property is fitted with a fire ring/fire pit. You cannot bring your own portable fire pit.

IS WIFI SERVICE INCLUDED WITH MY RENTAL RESERVATION? WILL I HAVE CELL PHONE SERVICE AT MY RENTAL?

Wifi is available at Fox and Crow. Please note that Greybeard Rentals does not guarantee internet connectivity or speed. Each individual homeowner contracts directly with an internet service provider, and due to a variety of reasons, Greybeard does not guarantee service. Our Black Mountain and Asheville offices have wifi service available if needed.

Cell phone service is not guaranteed. You may check with your service provider to see if service is available.

We loved the convenience to Asheville. The small details for our fur baby, kitchen/bar extras and all the unique decor and art. The site feels secluded once you are there. Not big Mountain Views but great property to explore. Great little getaway cabin!

An incredibly quaint log cabin, decorated with the eye of an artist, yet all the modern conveniences. In a fun, scenic locale.

The Fox and Crow Cabin is magical. You are truly in a Log Cabin with all the modern amenities down the road from horses and a yard full of nature's delights. The attention to detail is amazing. You will see the latest from the best artists in the River Arts District plus smart well appointed furnishings. Luxury king size beds! We still want to know who makes the mattresses! Perfect for two couples who want to enjoy the mountains. Fun dinners at home with perfect kitchen and big dining room. Weaverville is a hop skip and a jump from Asheville so we also enjoyed our dinners out. Plus the town of Weaverville has everything you need! Thank you for taking the time to make a place that is going to be an annual visit for us!

From the moment we arrived we were extremely happy. What a lovely and partially secluded cabin. Felt like a fairytale. Couldn't have been any better! Best stay of our entire trip!

We could not have been more impressed by the Fox and Crow cabin in Weaverville! The adorable attention to detail throughout the entire cabin made it truly feel like home. There was also exceptional communication throughout our trip, which meant a lot as weather caused us to have to push our trip back and Greybeard was totally understanding and accommodating. We HIGHLY recommend this property and can't wait to book another stay sometime in the near future!

The house was very comfortable, clean and close to hikes and downtown. The interior furnishings and decorations were also very unique, and "fun". The owners left us cheese, wine, and fresh flowers.....a very nice touch!

He had a blast during our stay at Fox and Crow. The cabin is really nice and comfy, we felt at home, super convenient access, close to the city and grocery stores but at the same time with the mountain and forest feel.

Everything. The house was perfect, well stocked, decorated beautifully, exceptionally clean & had everything we needed. Beds were so comfortable. The location was great. About 10 minutes to Asheville. No problem with any neighbors. The property is perfect for dogs as well. Extra touches like flashlights, dog bags, dog bowls, toiletries, coffee bar, were so thoughtful. Would absolutely stay here again!
