Description

Blue Skye is a charming, updated 1916 bungalow in Montreat, The cottage has a covered front porch, stone wood-burning fireplace, hardwood floors, and a large private backyard. Blue Skye features central heating and
air and linens are provided.

Step out your front door and onto the sidewalk for an easy stroll to the Montreat Gate or to Montreat Conference Center- less than a mile walk. You can also take the more scenic, shady creekside walking trail across the street
Blue Skye is located 20 minutes east of Asheville and 5 minutes to Black Mountain. Easy access to programs and facilities of Montreat Conference Center, including historic Assembly Inn, Lake Susan, hiking trails and tennis courts.

House Layout-
Living room with wood burning fireplace and TV (cable and Wifi provided); dining area with seating for 6; well-appointed kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, and coffee maker, also breakfast table seating for 3. Bedroom 1 with queen and full bath (shower only); bedroom 2 with 2 twins; jack and jill bathroom between bedroom (shower/tub combo); bedroom 3 with a queen bed; laundry room.

Blue Skye features central heating and air and linens are provided.

Blue Sky was cozy and warm for our family over New Year week. We enjoyed the trails and streams of Montreat. The new mattress was a plus. It was our second stay in Blue Sky and probably not our last.

My wife is a superhost for an airnrb we own and our stay had most all the amenities she provides. Very nice house and the heat worked well. The surrounding areas to walk on the trails and walk to downtown Black Mountain was enjoyable as well as conversing with the many neighbors walking the sidewalks.

It was terrific. Reservations and access were seamless. The house was just as it appeared on the website. It was exactly what we needed for our small family Thanksgiving.

A really nice, quiet place to stay.

The hiking trail along the creek is only 40 feet away!

The house and nearby opportunities exceeded our expectations!

The house is perfectly located in Montreat with access to hiking trails and opportunities to take-in events/shops in Black Mountain. If you are looking for a place for a family of 6 to get away and enjoy time together, then Blue Skye is perfect. It was a great family time!

Our family of 4 stayed for 10 days and loved exploring the National Forest and parks! Blue Skye fit our needs perfectly. The house is in a great location and well-appointed. We had everything we needed in the kitchen to make several meals at home.

Comfortable home in Montreat. About a 10 minute walk to Lake Susan. Easy access to Flat Creek and Gate Trail.
