Built by hand by the original owners with historic doors and windows reclaimed from regional historic buildings, Keasler Lodge is an impressive mountain getaway with year-round views of the Blue Ridge Mountains and rustic gardens that hold an abundance of native plants that offer different blooms throughout the seasons. A paradise for outdoor enthusiasts, the grounds offer 5 private acres with small trails woven throughout, a water feature, and open stonework fire pit. The iconic Appalachian Trail can also be accessed just 1 mile from the home. Thoughtfully appointed, the main floor of Keasler Lodge offers a spacious kitchen overlooking the grounds with all-clad cookware, a formal dining area, and a living room with a wood-burning fireplace. Step out onto the deck to dine al fresco while overlooking the Blue Ridge Mountains or enjoy a friendly but competitive game of one-on-one basketball in the driveway. Also on the main floor is a powder room, laundry room, and a library with custom built-ins, cozy seating, and a dedicated work area with access to high-speed WIFI. Upstairs, just beyond the impressive chandelier that is original to the home, is an open area with a table perfect for evening board games or a rainy afternoon puzzle. There is also access to an upper-level deck with bistro-style seating for 2. The primary bedroom, with a king-size bed, offers a perfectly framed view of the mountains and an en suite bathroom with a claw-foot bathtub and shower. An "east" bedroom and "west" bedroom each provide a queen-size bed with a full-size bathroom accessed from the hallway. An additional upstairs room provides a flexible space for yoga practice, meditation, or simply a quiet moment to reflect on the day's adventures. The lower level of the home provides a secondary primary suite with a full-size murphy bed, desk space, and an en suite bathroom with a walk-in shower. Ideal for families and friend groups, this charming & private mountain lodge filled with thoughtful touches and historic features throughout provides the perfect place to relax, explore, and bask in the beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains that surround it! Please Note: This rental is NOT pet-friendly. When rented monthly, there is a $150 monthly utility allowance for water, power, and gas. Any overages are to be reimbursed by the tenant.

Peaceful property nestled in the woods. View is unbeatable! Even had a baby and mama bear visit the yard. Comfortable accommodations and plenty of space for our group of four adults. Kitchen very well supplied for family-style breakfasts and dinners.
