Spacious, beautifully renovated Montreat home with magnificent vistas and a flowing creek through the property. Beautifully decorated, each level of this two-story house features a modern kitchen, laundry room, and large decks so the property offers two homes in one or one grand home. Covered decks on the main and lower levels. There are 4 TVs throughout the house (cable and wifi are included). The primary suite on the main floor features double sinks and a Jacuzzi tub.

Both levels are accessible by two driveways with plenty of level parking. Located in peaceful Montreat, Breezy Point is a 10-minute walk down to Lake Susan and the conference center. You'll also be less than a 10-minute drive to downtown Black Mountain, where you can grab dinner, groceries, or do a little shopping. The Blue Ridge Parkway, downtown Asheville, and The Biltmore are also within half an hour from Breezy Point.

Main floor: Great room with gas log fireplace and dining table (seating for 8); Full kitchen with dishwasher, standard coffee maker, and island seating for 2; Dining area with seating for 6; Primary suite with king bed, TV, and full bath with shower and jacuzzi tub; Bedroom with king bed (can convert into 2 twins); Full hall bath with shower/tub combo; Study with TV and queen sleeper sofa.
Downstairs: Bedroom with 2 twin beds, TV, and full bath with shower/tub combo; Bedroom with a king; Full hall bath with shower/tub combo; Den with TV and queen sleeper sofa.
Outdoors: Covered decks on the main and lower level; Gas grill on the main level deck.

PLEASE NOTE: This home provides sheets and towels for your visit. For your convenience, beds will be made for stays from mid-August through May. During the summer Montreat Conference season—typically from the 1st Saturday in June to the 1st Saturday in August- the linens will be delivered to the home and available in gray laundry bags.

During June and July, the house rents weekly. Otherwise, there is a 3-night minimum stay, except holidays require a 4-night rental. This home does not rent to groups. There are 3 exterior cameras facing the driveway and the water feature.

Our group loved every minute of our stay at Breezy Point! from time on the patios to meals together, everything was cozy, comfortable and well-kept.

Although gathered as a family for a sad occasion your home brought us together to enjoy the beautiful fall weekend. Lots of joy with our grandchildren. The house was so great had every amenity, my family loved it! We hiked , enjoyed the sunrises and sunsets from the porch, even with some rain!

We enjoyed the area of Montreat as well as Black Mountain for the natural beauty and the quaint town. The hiking available from the house was great to explore and we took several day trips to nearby waterfalls.

This is perhaps the most comfortable vacation home I've stayed in! All of us said we slept better here than most other places - home included. There was plenty of seating for hanging out, two well stocked kitchens (equipment, etc), good parking, and more that we could have enjoyed with better weather. The gas fireplace upstairs was cozy and really put out warmth. The view also can't be beat!

Large house with unusual floor plan, decks with gorgeous views, very well-equipped kitchen with high quality equipment, comfortable furniture in living rooms and library.. Directions for the TV's and electronic tub would've been welcomed. High up the mountain!

We loved the house! It was spacious and accommodated a group well--many living spaces for group to gather and porch was a great bonus.
Very convenient location- but very private. Rental agency was responsive to our needs and prompt in responding to requests!
Only request might be to provide some basic necessities such as soap, tissues, coffee filters. We were happy to bring our own sheets and towels but those other items are an expectation. Also, could not locate a broom on the premises---These are trivial matters, and would not prohibit us from returning!

The only thing missing was a broom, vacuum, and a few cleaning items especially if children were in the rental party!

We were an adult group attending the worship and music conference. The house is a great layout for a group. Having 2 kitchens was very helpful. The upstairs kitchen was small but we managed.

Words seem inadequate to describe the beauty, spaciousness, cleanliness, and convenience my family and I experienced at Breezy Point. The picture does not begin to show the actual beauty of the house. There were four families, 14 people staying at the house; 8 adults, 3 teenagers, and three pre-schoolers. Each family had their own bedroom. We had the opportunity to do group things but also have our own space to read or watch tv if we choose to do so. We can't wait to book the house again for our family vacation. We were convenient to Black Mountain, Ashville, or Boone. We visited all three. We went tubing, shopped at the shops, and ate at some fabulous places. We also prepared meals at the house. It was one of the best vacations our family has had as far as being able to spend quality time together. I highly recommend Breezy Point to anyone wanting a fabulous place to stay and relax.

From the website, we knew the house would fit our needs for Thanksgiving weekend - wanting 11 of us in one location - but what we were not prepared for was just how well-equipped, comfortable, and perfect it would be. No photos we had seen captured the beauty of the views from just about every room. We spent a lot of time playing games around the big table - perfect for a group!

Our two families found the property to be very accommodating and most inviting. It felt like home! Very spacious with a well-planned decor.
The children enjoyed exploring inside and out. The small pond with tad poles, tiny fish, and lily pads was a big hit.
I gave \"location\" a \"4\" rating because it is off the main path of travel which is good and bad. We really felt \"in the woods\" which is good, but it was a distance to visit other family members in a house near the Montreat entry gate. Also, backing out of the drive does take concentration. There was plenty of parking for guests.
We would definitely stay at the property again.
Susan, our realtor, was great!!! She answered all our questions and followed through with everything. This is the second time we have worked with Susan.

WHERE IS THIS HOUSE LOCATED?

Breezy Point is located in Montreat. This home is approximately 10 minutes to Black Mountain and 30 minutes to Asheville. Click on the location tab above to locate this house on a map.

WHAT IS YOUR REFUND/CANCELLATION POLICY?

If you need to cancel your reservation and the property you had reserved re-rents for the time which you had it reserved, you will be refunded all money you had paid minus an $89 cancellation fee. If you cancel and the property does not re-rent for your reserved dates, you will lose all money you have paid to that point. For this reason, we recommend that you purchase trip insurance . Please call 888-228-8008 before making a reservation if you have questions or concerns.

WHAT IS YOUR PET POLICY AND FEE?

Breezy Point is not “pet friendly”. Please be respectful of those owners who, because of allergies or other personal reasons, have chosen not to allow any pets. If housekeeping notes that a pet was present on a non-pet friendly property during your visit, you will be charged a minimum of $600 to clean carpets, upholstered furniture and complete air purification measures. Bringing a pet to a house that is not pet-friendly without owner consent or permission from Greybeard is grounds for termination of the rental agreement without refund. If you must travel with your pet, please contact us for local boarding recommendations. More info about service animals and the ADA is available here.

WHAT ARE CHECK-IN/CHECK OUT TIMES?

Check-in time is 4pm and check out time is 10am. It is important that we adhere to these times, because there is a chance that someone else will be checking out/in before or after you and we need sufficient time to ready the house for the next renter. If you wish to check-in early, there is a $50 early check-in fee that can be added on to your reservation. Early check-in is only available if someone is not checking out on the morning of your arrival. Early check-in is not available during the summer conference season.

WHERE DO WE CHECK-IN/PICK UP KEYS?

You will pick up keys from our Black Mountain office, located at 204 East State Street. Keys will be available starting at 4:00 pm. If you are arriving after hours, you will receive instructions on how to access the safe on our front porch. There will be an envelope with your name and house name at the top. Your keys and driving directions will be inside the envelope.

WHAT IF THERE IS AN EMERGENCY DURING OUR STAY?

If you are having a medical emergency, dial 911 from the phone in your rental home or cell phone.

We hope that your stay in the area will be relaxing and without incident, but should you need to get in touch with Greybeard, we have someone on call 24 hours a day. Just call our office at 828-669-1072 and select option 1, which will forward to the cell phone of the person on call. Please do not hesitate to call us if something needs immediate attention, but if your question or concern can wait, we ask that you call the office during normal office hours.

WHEN ARE HOMES WITH GAS LOGS IN OPERATION?

Breezy Point has an indoor gas logs fireplace. Gas logs are not in operation May through September due to the warmer summer months.

IS THERE AN OUTDOOR FIRE PIT?

This home does not provide an outdoor fire pit. Absolutely NO fires are permitted outside unless the property is fitted with a fire ring/fire pit, and you cannot bring your own portable fire pit.

IS WIFI SERVICE INCLUDED WITH MY RENTAL RESERVATION? WILL I HAVE CELL PHONE SERVICE AT MY RENTAL?

Wifi is available at Breezy Point. Please note that Greybeard Rentals does not guarantee internet connectivity or speed. Each individual homeowner contracts directly with an internet service provider, and due to a variety of reasons, Greybeard does not guarantee service. Our Black Mountain and Asheville offices have wifi service available if needed.

Cell phone service is not guaranteed. You may check with your service provider to see if service is available.
