Asheville Family Reunions and Group Events

Asheville cabin rentals

Reunions / Group Planning

Are you planning a family reunion? Wedding? Vacation with friends? We have great groupings of vacation rentals that accommodate large gatherings of people for your event or get-together.

Cheshire Village

In another quaint in-town neighborhood, Cheshire Village in Black Mountain, we have Sparrow Cottage, Ravenscroft, Butternut Cottage, Hamlet House, Hatton House, Apple Cupboard Cottage, and Maison Reve all within walking distance of each other. Cheshire also boasts wonderful outdoor spaces for large groups to gather and enjoy the wonderful mountain air. There is a community playground and several common green spaces to enjoy as well as 2 wonderful restaurants and a gourmet market/coffee shop.

Secluded Group Getaways

However, if you want to find a bit more seclusion we have addition groupings of vacation rentals that are located farther out in the mountains surrounding Asheville and Black Mountain.

Ladybug Mountain, Byrd's Nest, and Sterling Retreat  are all located on one gravel road in the rustic mountain community of High Rock Acres about 15 minutes from Black Mountain.

High Haven, Jonah's House, Orchard Knob, Harmony Hill, Autumn Getaway  Just a short drive from each other in another gated mountain community called Laurel Ridge with exceptional views.

Round Knob Lodge is another great option.  This estate has 20 acres, ponds, seating for large groups, and event space for outdoor weddings, etc.

Montreat Area

Montreat Area is another great option for large groups as many of the homes are walk-able to each other and Montreat is an ideal area to hike and explore with a wonderful playground with a meandering creek, tennis courts and small pond.

Some of our favorite options for groups in Montreat are as follows:

Mountain View and Grethen (next door to one another), Dale House and Craig are also fairly close by.

Sloopy Hollow and Dubard (backdoor neighbors)

Livingstone Lodge, Shenandoah, and Bonniemeade

Potter Cottage, Woodland, Two Little Birds, Gray Rock, Pressler-McLaurin Cabin
