Blue Ridge Dream is a beautifully renovated authentic log cabin--a peaceful retreat at nearly 4000 feet elevation located in a rural development but only 12 miles from Asheville's vibrant downtown. Relax in front of the fire or prepare a meal with fresh local ingredients in the cook's kitchen. Kids love playing in the flat yard, and floor-to-ceiling windows & outdoor decks provide panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. Satellite TV, wireless internet & a Wii provide indoor entertainment. A portion of our rental proceeds are donated to Blue Ridge Forever, a land conservancy dedicated to preserving land in the Southern Blue Ridge Mtns. HOUSE LAYOUT: MAIN:kitchen, dining, living room, full hall bath. Access is approximately a dozen steps to the front or back entrances. A perfect Asheville location, a gorgeous setting, and all the comforts of home.what more can you ask for on your vacation? This home is meticulously cared for with a large well-manicured yard to enjoy, a lovely back patio including a grill for all those crisp summer evenings, and wonderfully comfortable rooms to rest after your fun-filled days in Asheville. One of our favorite features, however, is that this home is within walking distance to beautiful Beaver Lake with its trails, bird sanctuary, and access to kayak, canoe, and fishing (permit required). This peaceful home is bright and airy with beautiful scenery out every window. The master has a king bed, the 2nd bedroom has a queen, the 3rd has two twins, and each of the bedrooms has its own TV. The living room has a wonderful fireplace to cozy up next to on those cool fall/winter evenings, while the den has a nice flat screened TV. The Biltmore House and Village is only 15 min away, downtown Asheville only 10 minutes, and Grove Park Inn/Spa/Golf Course is only 5 minutes away. In addition, there is a bike shop (where you can rent a bike for the day), Library, Fresh Market and Ingles grocery stores, great restaurants and a CVS Drug Store all very close to the house. We just know you will love this home away from home as you explore the vibrant Asheville area and all it has to offer. Included with the monthly rent is $100 per month power allowance and $50 per month water allowance. Any overage to be reimbursed by tenant.
